Lewa Studios – Booking Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment and paying a deposit at Lewa Studios, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings. This amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your appointment.

Deposits are only transferable or refundable if you cancel/reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment.

If you cancel or attempt to reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited. You will need to book a new service with a new deposit.

Failure to pay a deposit means your booking will not be confirmed.
2. Consultations & Client Suitability

A consultation form is mandatory for all first-time clients. This ensures we fully understand your hair history, needs, and expectations.

For chemical-based services (e.g. relaxers, colouring, bleaching), refusal to complete a consultation form will result in your appointment being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Our stylists reserve the right to refuse or adjust services if:

The desired hairstyle is not achievable on your hair type/condition.

The service requested involves poor practice or would risk damaging your hair or scalp.
-
At Lewa Studios, we prioritise healthy, professional practice over unsafe trends.
3. Late Arrivals & Grace Period

We kindly ask all clients to arrive on time for their appointment.

A 30-minute grace period is allowed. Arrivals later than 30 minutes may result in your appointment being shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled at the discretion of Lewa Studios.

A £10 late fee will automatically apply to all late arrivals within the grace period.

Clients who are more than 30 minutes late risk forfeiting their appointment and deposit.
4. Services & Requests

Please ensure that all service requests are included in your booking at the time of scheduling.

Any additional services requested on the day will be charged as an extra cost and are subject to stylist availability. We cannot guarantee that additional services outside of your booking will be accommodated.

Prices are listed as starting prices and may vary depending on hair length, thickness, or service complexity.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation or rescheduling is made 48 hours or more before your appointment.

If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, your deposit will be lost and cannot be transferred.

No-shows will result in the loss of your deposit and may affect future bookings.
6. Walk-Ins & Same-Day Appointments

Walk-ins are welcome but strictly subject to stylist availability and a first-come, first-served basis.

For walk-ins, please call the Lewa Studios booking line before visiting.

Please do not use the online booking system for same-day appointments.
7. Client Responsibilities

Please arrive with your hair in a suitable condition for your service (e.g., detangled if required for your appointment type).

If your hair requires extra preparation outside of the booked service, additional charges may apply.

Clients are expected to:

Treat staff and other clients with respect.
-
Avoid any behaviour that may cause disruption or damage to salon property.

Disrespectful behaviour, aggression, or damage to property will result in immediate termination of your appointment and may result in a permanent ban from future services.
8. Complaints & Feedback

We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.
9. Salon Rights

Lewa Studios reserves the right to refuse service if these terms and conditions are not respected.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, services, and policies at any time.
